Today our recipe with Balzano Pressure Cooker is Jareesh.

  • Jareesh ingredients

  • - Jareesh - 3 cups

  • - Egyptian rice - 1 cup

  • - Chicken - 1 skinless Chicken

  • - Onion - 1 large-size chopped

  • - Yogurt - 4 cups

  • - Salt - 1 teaspoon

  • - Pepper - 1 teaspoon

  • - Cumin 1 teaspoon

  • - Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

  • - Vegetable oil / butter - tablespoon


  • Onion mix ingredients

  • - Vegetable oil / butter - 3 tablespoon

  • - Onion- 2 large sized - chopped

  • - Spices - (black pepper, salt, cumin, cinnamon, lumi)


  • Directions

  • 1- Preparing chicken : 
  • - Turn your cooker on.

  • - Heat some oil or butter, then add the chopped onion.

  • - Set your cooker to prepare the chicken.

  • - Choose the chicken option from the screen touch panel in the Balzano Pressure Cooker. 

  • - Add your chicken then put 2 chicken soup stocks and stir for a few minutes.

  • - Add water and cover your Balzano pressure cooker. 

  • - When chicken is cooked, the cooker will give you an alarm.

  • 2- Preparing Jareesh : 
  • - Take the out of the cooker, remove bones and pat chicken aside.

  • - Add the pre-soaked Jareesh and rice to the chicken broth.
